We are a visual artist project organization based in the UK West Midlands, formed in 2005 by lead artists Dr Sally Payen and Jaime Jackson. Specializing in Arts Council England funded nature based socially engaged practice and collaborative action with climate and ecology scientists, we have commissioned over 20 artists working with partner organizations to help people positively respond to the earth crisis.

Salt Road is the regional member of Culture Declares Emergency West Midlands, the Great Imagining and are an associate artist project of Climate Museum UK. Current projects include the three year ACE funded Our Place program in Herefordshire and the five year Climate Action Funded WASH hub in East Birmingham.
